How to use NOMU Liquid STOCKS

Think outside the (stock) cube! A conceptual foodie first for South Africa, NOMU Concentrated Liquid STOCKS are the best liquid assets in the kitchen.  

With an 18-month shelf life, NOMU Liquid STOCKS are super concentrated and packed full of unbelievably rich, hearty flavour – so good that you can drink them by the mugful. Just one 200ml bottle will make up to 6 litres of delicious stock to add wholesome depth to gravies, sauces, soups, marinades, stews and casseroles.

Available in four versatile flavours for a variety of delicious dishes – Vegetable, Chicken, Beef and Lamb.

How to use your NOMU STOCKS

Tamperproof seal

Remove the cap of your STOCK and peel off the tamperproof seal. Twist the cap back on and shake well before using. Store in the fridge once opened.

Good enough to drink

NOMU STOCKS are delicious as a warming drink on a cold winter’s day or as a midday pick-me-up. Simply add a teaspoon to a mug of hot water, stir and enjoy.

Dilute with water

To make a litre of diluted stock for cooking, add 2 tbsp (30ml) of STOCK to hot water and stir to dissolve. It’s now ready to add to gravies, sauces, soups, stews, marinades and casseroles.

Or pour straight in

Because our NOMU STOCKS are liquid, you don’t have to dissolve them before use. Drizzle directly into your food during cooking to add wholesome and delicious flavour.

VEGETABLE

  • Use to prepare delicious couscous and bulgar wheat instead of adding plain water.
  • Add a teaspoon to bechamel or cheese sauce for a flavour boost.
