Classic chewy chocolate cookies

Makes: 12 cookies

Ingredients

1 box NOMU MiniMakes Chocolate Cookie Dough Mix
60g unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 large egg, beaten

Directions

Whisk together the cooled melted butter and sugar (sachet 1), then whisk in the egg until well combined. Add the cookie mix (sachet 2) and mix to form a smooth dough.

Cover and chill for 1 hour or more – this gives the flavours in the dough time to develop, and creates thicker and chewier cookies.

Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan-assisted convection) and line a tray with baking paper.

Portion and roll the dough into 12 even balls. Place 5cm apart on the prepared tray and gently press flat until 1cm thick.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, then allow to cool on the baking tray.

 

Tip: This cookie dough is perfect for making double chocolate chip cookies! Simply add 80g chopped chocolate to the dough before chilling it.
