Small batch pancakes
A delicious base for all your favourite toppings, like syrup, bananas, caramelised apples, berries, yoghurt or ice cream.

Small batch pancakes

Makes: 8 pancakes

Ingredients

1 x 150g sachet NOMU MiniMakes All Purpose Dough & Batter Mix
2/3 cup (160ml) milk
1 large egg
2 Tbsp (30g) unsalted butter, melted

Directions

Whisk together the milk, egg and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Add in the dry mix and whisk until just combined. Do not overmix! The batter should still look slightly lumpy.

Set aside for 15 minutes to rest for fluffier pancakes (optional).

Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and lightly grease with oil or melted butter. Dollop 1/4 cup portions of batter into the hot frying pan and cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the underside is golden. Flip over and cook until golden and cooked through. Repeat until all the batter is finished.

Serve with any of your favourite toppings, like syrup, bananas, caramelised apples, berries, yoghurt or ice cream.

 

Tip: For extra fluffy pancakes, swap out the milk for buttermilk.
