Homemade Vegan Dark Chocolate Slab
With a rich and decadent flavour from our top-quality cocoa powder, this chocolate slab makes a thoughtful homemade gift.

Homemade Vegan Dark Chocolate Slab

Makes: 1 650g slab

Ingredients

375g coconut oil
3/4 cup (190ml) icing sugar, sifted
1 cup (250ml) NOMU Cocoa, sifted
1/4 cup (60ml) rice milk powder
½ tsp NOMU Vanilla Extract

Directions

Prepare a loaf tin by lining the bottom and sides with a sheet of baking paper.

Place the coconut oil into a medium-sized saucepan and gently melt over low heat.

Sift together the icing sugar, cocoa powder and milk powder. Add to the melted warm coconut oil followed by the Vanilla Extract. Whisk until completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth and glossy.

Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf tin and place in the fridge until the chocolate is completely set. Chop into rustic shards and serve with coffee.

Tips: Rice milk powder is a dairy-free, vegan milk alternative product. It can be found in most health stores, like Dischem, Clicks and Wellness Warehouse
