CREAMY FUDGE

Servings: 35 (depending on size)

Metric Imperial

Ingredients

1kg sugar
3 tins condensed milk
5 tbsp golden syrup
180g butter
125ml water
2 tsp NOMU Vanilla Extract
Pinch of NOMU Sea Salt

Directions

Dissolve the sugar in the water over a gentle heat. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring from time to time. The mixture is ready when it has turned a lovely caramel colour and forms a firm ball forms when you drop a small amount of mixture into a bowl of chilled water.

Carefully beat the mixture with an electric mixer until thickened with a matte finish. It should look firm and almost set.

Quickly pour into a greased baking tray and score while still soft. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
