Classic choc chip cookies

Makes: 12 cookies

Ingredients

1 box NOMU minimakes Vanilla Cookie Dough mix
60g unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 large egg
80g milk chocolate, roughly chopped

Directions

Whisk together the butter and sugar (sachet 1), then whisk in the egg until combined. Add the cookie mix (sachet 2) and chocolate and stir to form a dough.

Cover and chill the dough for at least 1 hour.

Preheat your oven to 180°C and line two trays with baking paper.

Portion the dough into 12 balls and flatten between the palms of your hands until about 1cm thick. Place on the prepared trays. If you like, you can press some extra chopped chocolate into the tops of the cookies for extra glam.

Bake for 10-12 min, then allow to cool. Do not overbake, as this will give your cookies a cakey texture.

Tip: Do you HAVE to chill the dough? Well, technically no, but we highly recommend that you do. This step gives the flavours in the dough time to intensify while also improving the overall texture of the cookies.
