Classic spiced cake
One recipe, many forms of cake. Use our handy guideline to bake this warmly-spiced cake batter into different shapes and sizes for every kind of occasion. Although delicious baked as is, this batter is also a perfect base for additions of mashed banana, grated carrot, diced apple, or even shredded zucchini.
