Cinnamon hot chocolate
A delicately spiced hot chocolate made using our top quality cocoa powder. The perfect treat for a chilly autumn day!

Cinnamon hot chocolate

Servings: 4

Metric Imperial

Ingredients

¼ cup (4 tbsp) NOMU Cocoa
¼ cup (4 tbsp) sugar
1 tbsp NOMU Sweet Rub
Pinch of salt
½ cup hot water
3 ½ cups milk
1 tsp NOMU Vanilla Extract

Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine the Cocoa, sugar, NOMU Sweet Rub and salt. Stir in the water and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Gradually stir in the milk and continue to heat until heated through, stirring frequently. Do not boil.

Remove from the heat and stir in the Vanilla Extract. Serve in your favourite mugs.

 

Tip: It pays to adjust sweetness to taste and you can also add a shot of brandy when it feels like the right thing to do
