Greenpop is the brainchild of Capetonian Misha Teasdale and was originally conceived with the ambition of bringing people together, getting their hands dirty and planting 1000 trees during the month of September (Arbor Month) in Cape Town’s under-greened, marginalized communities.
The organization has grown and developed since then, but the incredibly driven Greenpop team remains focused on sustainable urban greening and forest restoration projects, spreading environmental awareness, and activating people to become environmental stewards across Sub-Saharan Africa.
