Created in Cape Town in December 2000, NOMU is a trend and innovation-leading, South African, food and lifestyle brand, producing a wide (and still growing) range of different food products.
NOMU aims to inspire creative kitchens anywhere in the world, using only the very best quality ingredients to create consistently amazing flavours, whether you’re an expert or an absolute novice.

NOMU uses only the best, ultra-rich, ethically sourced Rainforest Alliance certified African cocoa beans. By supporting NOMU Hot Chocolate with the frog seal, you also help us to contribute to better farming practices, fight against climate change, conserve our forests and improve the livelihoods of farmers and workers.

Over the last two decades NOMU has developed close relationships with wonderful and relevant groups of initiatives and organizations. These range from local orphanages, situated near to our factory, to early reading programs for young adults, to domestic animal rescue and fostering, sea rescue and much, much more.
